your pendrive might be picking up this virus from other comps on which you are using this.
if you are not using it on any other comp (no other than your lappy), then it means you have active virus in your laptop.

“Autorun.inf” file contains virus codes.
“Autorun.inf” folder is a trick used to prevent formation of “Autorun.inf” file

Make an “Autorun.inf” folder in your pendrive as well… Most of the cases the viruses are unable to delete “Autorun.inf” folder.

hi piyush, i am aritra . i have used the hunt and delete file and i have used that on my pfones memory card and my 2gb transcend pendrive and after few days i have goen to the cybercafe and when i plugged the paedrive on the usb port and it shows that it had a virus. help

hello guys,
if u all r getting this problem. I giving u workable suggestion that u can remove this virus permanently means even feature. but for this u have to some work
the work is following below here:-

first u download Rising antivirus
then scan ur pen drive with it
now just format ur pen drive once with command line

to follow this command
c:\ format e:(pen drive)
enter for format
yes
now u make own autorun.inf
with just type
go to ur pen drive e:
e: copy con autorun.inf
write something in it
then press ctrl+z and enter
then
e:\ attrib +R autorun.inf
and now hidden this file

e:\ attrib +H autorun.inf

now ur pen drive will not be fill with this virus

Whenever I connect my 4 GB Amkette Pendrive to My Laptop , I got message from Quick heal which i install in my laptop that
“Detected w32.Autorun.Gen.in”
G:\autorun.inf
File was repaired

after I Ok on this message within 5 second again comes this message & every 5 second this message come. Also In my laptop , In all drive One Folder made Autorun.inf , in which zhengbo nade empty folder made. but its not deletable.

What i do ?
G:\ is my usb drive..

if you have virus in your system, u need to remove it first, or else your pen-drive wll get infected again and again.
